1. Our Zero-Knowledge Philosophy

AetherVault is built on Web3 decentralization principles. We do not request, collect, or store your traditional personal data such as Name, Email Address, Phone Number, or Physical Identity (KYC). Your privacy is your absolute right.

2. Data Interacting with the Protocol

• Public Wallet Address: When you connect a wallet (such as MetaMask), we only read your public address to display your $AETH balance and Time Capsule history on the dashboard screen.
• Blockchain Data (On-Chain Data): All transactions, capsule encryption, and staking interactions are executed and recorded permanently on the public Polygon network. This data is public yet anonymously encrypted by default from the blockchain.

3. Secret Message Storage & IPFS

Secret messages or seed phrases you input into the Time Capsule are encrypted directly on the client-side using Web3 infrastructure. Uploaded attachments are pinned via the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) network. Due to the decentralized nature of the network, AetherVault as the developer entity possesses no keys or backdoor access to decrypt your data before your calendar Time-Lock deadline is reached.

4. Financial Security

We never have administrative access to your crypto wallet. The AetherVault protocol runs using non-custodial Smart Contracts. The responsibility of securing your MetaMask wallet's recovery phrase (seed phrase) rests entirely in your hands.
